If you have an insatiable appetite for pizza and the spirit of a champion, then this is the contest for you! But before you sign up, it is important to get familiar with our contest guidelines. Please take your time to read through all the guidelines and rules carefully before paying any entre fees.

ENTRY RULES

Entry Fee – $20 includes one (1) hat, one (1) t-shirt and one (1) entry into the contest.
*shirts (between large – XXL only) and hats will be provided on your designated contest day.

Re-Entry Fee – Any contestant paying the initial Entry Fee, but not advancing to the Championship Round, is eligible for one (1) Re-Entry at a cost of $10 which includes on (1) contest entry for any remaining qualifying round.

Our Pizza Eating Contest is open to all amateur foodies who are 18 years or older and in good health. Anyone with a serious health condition or known food allergies, especially to wheat, is advised not to participate.

TOTAL ENTRIES

The number of contestants is limited to fifty (50) total, breaking down into ten (10) per round. The non-refundable Entry Fee of $20 and Re-Entry Fee must be paid to secure your spot in the contest.

CONTEST DATES

Qualifying Rounds:           April 13, 2024 / April 20, 2024 / April 27, 2024 / May 4, 2024 / May 11, 2024

Championship Round:     May 25, 2024

The winner of each round is determined by the fastest to consume one (1), twelve-inch, cheese pizza.

All Qualifying rounds and the Championship round start at Noon on the dates noted. Please remember to arrive at least 45 minutes early to sign in at the registration table. Late arrivals may forfeit their entry fee.

DOM DeMARCO’S PIZZA EATING CONTEST RULES

1. All participants must register in person at 9785 W. Charleston Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89117
2. Must be 18 years old or older to register – ID verification required – Nevada residents only
3. Entry Fee of $20 includes one (1) hat, one (1) t-shirt and one (1) entry into the contest (no refunds)
4. Re-Entry Fee – Any contestant paying the initial Entry Fee, but not advancing to the Championship Round, is eligible for one (1) Re-Buy Entry at a cost of $10 which includes one (1) contest entry into any remaining qualifying round
5. Winner of each round is determined by the first to consume one (1), twelve-inch, cheese pizza
6. Each contestant may have a beverage consisting of water, soft drink, or iced tea only
7. No dunking of crust or dunking pizza in any beverage
8. Each contestant must finish one slice before moving to the next slice
9. Mouth must be cleared and hands up to be declared the winner of any qualifying round or championship round
10. Contestants must remain at the table throughout the contest, and leaving the table will result in immediate disqualification
11. First-place winner of each Qualifying Round receives a seat at the Championship Round table
12. Use of utensils (in any round) is not permitted. Touching of the pizza prior to start is prohibited.
13. Winner of the Championship Round will receive $500 Cash
14. Second-Place finisher in the Championship Round will receive a $50 Dom DeMarco’s Gift Card
15. Third-Place finisher in the Championship Round will receive a $25 Dom DeMarco’s Gift Card
16. Inappropriate language or gestures will result in disqualification
17. Physical contact with other contestants is strictly prohibited
18. If a contestant vomits or regurgitates during the competition, they will be disqualified.
19. Contestants’ names and pictures may be used by Dom DeMarco’s for promotional purposes.
20. All decisions made by Dom DeMarco’s or its representatives are final

CONTESTANT AGREEMENT:

I acknowledge that consuming large amounts of pizza can be potentially hazardous and uncomfortable. I affirm that I am medically capable to participate in this activity. I understand that this is a fun competition and commit to being a good sport. I agree to abide by the contest rules and decisions of the officials. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including indigestion, feeling stuffed, and potential aversion to pizza afterwards. In consideration of my entry being accepted, I release Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar, and their representatives, sponsors, and successors from all claims of liabilities of any kind arising from my participation in this event.
